The Boozefighter Santa 2004 No, that is not the Grinch who stole Christmas to the right....that would be my father in his version of a Santa outfit. *clears throat* Ahem. Yeah. So anyway, my dad (Deak) called me about a week before his motorcycle club's (The Boozefighters) annual Christmas party and asked if I had time to make a Santa costume for him to use as a prank - except in Boozefighter green and white. OK...Sure, I told him, I had enough time. I went about finding the material and putting the thing together for him in the evenings that week, and that ridiculous get-up to the right was the end result. (Hi, Dad, love you! *g*) Not my greatest creation, but still, laugh-worthy. When I presented it to my dad the night he was getting ready for the party, he saw the enormous size of the whole thing and prayed he wouldn't fill it, LOL! I reminded him that he wanted to get his leather jacket and chaps on underneath it, and that was why it was so gargantuan. Brynn and I laughed heartily when he was all stuffed into the outfit and ready to roll, and we snapped these pics with the video camera before he left. Making sure we took our time with the picture taking while Dad urged us to hurry because he was dying under all of his layers *g*. (My horns are just holding the halo up you see!) By the way, I failed to mention that he actually rode on the motorcycle to the party wearing this. I only hope there were no little kids who witnessed this and stopped believing in Santa Clause. :-D Well, if Dad had the confidence to wear this outside of the house last year, then maybe this year we can finally get him in garb at the Renaissance Faire. Just maybe not something this scary...... **Note On Strange Page Colors** Yes,
I have strayed from my usual black and silver page colors to add to the whole
"Boozefighter" effect of, say it with me now, green and white. *L*
